Peripheral arterial aneurysms do cause thrombo-embolic arterial occlusion. This male presented with rest pain in his right foot. His common Femoral artery aneurysm had thrombosed and he had occluded his superficial femoral and popliteal arteries.
He was treated with an Ilio-Profunda and Femoral to Popliteal trifurcation bypass.
